I’m so pleased to announce that after having such a nice time talking about The Hobbit with John Parker, host of This Queer Book Saved My Life podcast, I’ve joined the team as an Associate Producer and will be giving input and support to this GLADD Media Award-nominated podcast as they spread the word about the lifeline that is queer literature.

Queer books have always been more forward-thinking and -representing than other media, and continue to be a haven in which we can find characters and relationships that look like us, if only in our imaginations.

The This Queer Book team – John Parker and producer Jim Pounds – have given an opportunity for others to be part of their work to highlight queer authors and stories, and I’m glad to count myself among a small group of associate producers working together in programming meetings to develop this exciting show, named #1 Queer Book Podcast by MillionPodcasts.
